MULTICASE Inc. Announces a renewal of Cooperative Research And Development Agreement with the Food and Drug Administration.

 

CLEVELAND, Ohio · Octover 1, 2004 · MULTICASE Inc., a leading supplier of Artificial Intelligence Software for the development of new drugs and the assessment of their biological activities, today announced that it had renewed the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) for another five years. Under this CRADA, the FDA will use the Company’s M-CASE Software to develop a panel of toxicity database modules to provide toxicology decision support information for regulatory, research and development applications. The principal investigators for the FDA are Dr. Joseph F. Contrera and Dr. Edwin J. Matthews in the Office of Research and Testing.

MULTICASE will market and distribute the resulting software to industry, academia, regulatory agencies and other interested clients.
